I ordered this green and black jacket because I loved the overall look and think it pairs so well with jeans- but it also looks amazing with black leggings due to the contrasting black zipper. This rain jacket is everything it promises to be and more. The lightweight fabric is surprisingly durable and completely waterproof, keeping me perfectly dry during a sudden downpour. It’s perfect for layering because it is so lightweight. I was especially impressed with how effectively it blocked the wind, making it a fantastic layer for chilly, breezy days. Despite its protective qualities, it remains breathable enough for active use without feeling stuffy.The practical features are where this jacket truly excels. It packs down into its own pocket to an incredibly small size, making it a no-brainer to toss in a backpack or purse. This is an XXL, and I Always Size Up
I love my clothes to be baggy, but this raincoat also has a nice featured cinch option at the waist, so I was intrigued by that. I’m 5’5″ about 165lbs. Why did I order an XXL? Because the measurements are super generous and I can layer this coat easily in colder weather, or even around my child while I’m “baby wearing.” The zippers are smooth, the hood is huge, and of course it’s repellent to rain. The care instructions for this jacket were a little confusing. The tag states “machine wash cold” and then two lines below that it says “dry clean only.” The good news for you is I have machine washed this item and I opted to hang it dry. Still works to keep out the rain; and it dried fairly quickly, so yay for laundry day!
