Cute and playful dangle earrings, small tagua birds. A single Tagua seed is sliced and then laser-cut to perfection to create the bird’s shape, then dyed light blue. Each Tagua bird measures approximately 1″ x 0.5″. These blue tagua earrings are sustainable, organic, and vegan, pure vegetable ivory.
When ripe, tagua seeds are harvested and sun-dried. After losing all their moisture they become rock solid resembling ivory in color, texture, and hardness, hence their nickname: “Vegetable Ivory”. At this point, the hard seeds can be polished, dyed, cut, and shaped into beautiful beads that become FLORAMA natural jewelry.
