The Perfect Pants for Any Montana Adventure!I’ve been searching for a versatile pair of pants that can keep up with the unpredictable Billings weather and my love for the outdoors, and these are it. From a windy afternoon hike at Four Dances to a weekend trip up to the Beartooths, these cargo hiking pants have quickly become my absolute favorite.First off, the “lightweight” description is spot on. They are incredibly comfortable and breathable, which has been perfect for these warmer autumn days. They don’t feel heavy or restrictive at all, allowing for a full range of motion whether I’m scrambling over rocks or just walking the dog along the Yellowstone River.The quick-dry and water-resistant features are what really make them shine for Montana. I got caught in a classic pop-up shower while out near Zimmerman Park, and I was amazed at how the water just beaded up and rolled off. Even after getting a bit damp, they dried out in no time once the sun came back out. This is a huge plus for those creek crossings or dewy morning hikes.As for functionality, the cargo pockets are a game-changer. They’re well-placed and have plenty of room for my phone, keys, and a small snack without being bulky or getting in the way. It’s great to have everything accessible without having to dig through a backpack.I’ve finally found my go-to pants for three-season outdoor activities around here. They offer the perfect combination of comfort, durability, and weather protection. If you’re looking for a reliable pair of pants for hiking, camping, or just enjoying the Montana lifestyle, I can’t recommend these enough. Five stars, easily

Cute pants snug in waist
These pants are cute and seem to be water resistant. I also like the pockets. I will say that they are a bit snug in the waist and are high waisted. I ordered a size S (my normal size) and they were snug even though I have a small waist. It’s not too uncomfortable though and I will keep them.

I love these pants so much that I ordered a second pair in the same color (Camo) .I’m placing an order now for a third pair in a different color. They look great on and I love all the pockets. They wash well in the machine and dry quickly. They are so comfortable that I could do yoga classes in them. I also love that they are water resistant and my dogs fur doesn’t stick to them like my other clothes. Best of all no wrinkles! I hate ironing.

Leisure, not activity
I’d say these are more for leisure than hiking. They are quick dry, but not at all breathable. I could feel sweat dripping down my legs during a difficult incline, and it felt really uncomfortable. As far as sizing, I have a really small waist and the band was tight on me, so I imagine these could be uncomfortable for a lot of women with a different body shape.I love the color, and I feel cute in these for sure!, but I will use these for running errands only. I bought a black pair that I’ll be returning since their intended purpose was for hiking, but really they are just leisure pants. I returned a pair of khaki pants because they were actually olive green.

I bought these for camping, but now wear them every where. I don’t carry a purse and rely on pants with pockets to carry my essentials. Jeans have always been my go to pants, but these are my new favorites. They are lightweight and perfect for summer wear when you don’t want to wear shorts. The cuffed bottoms are perfect for camping, but also look fashionable when I wear them to teach classes. The pockets are fantastic! I love the 2 top pockets with Zippers, I keep my car keys in one and phone in the other, secure yet easily accessible and the cargo pockets on the legs have Velcro fasteners so my wallet stays safe. The fabric is durable but light weight. They wash like a dream and dry fast if you need to hand wash them or you get stuck in the rain. They are great for travel because they don’t wrinkle when packed. I have these in 4 colors and love them all.
