VERY Strong Lavender Scent!
I gave this lavender lotion five stars, but the scent is almost overpowering. I love lavender, especially from France, but when you first apply the lotion, it is a bit strong. The moisturizing aspect of the Panier des Sens lotion works very well, so all things considered a high quality lotion. Also like the fact that it is composed of 97% natural ingredients. Tres bien!

Great product design, poor product quality
I’m a sucker for botanical/floral scents and designs so the product packaging is drew me in. However, I should have known better than to judge a book by its cover.The jasmine scent is present, but it’s hidden under a note of this intense plastic/wax/crayon smell that hits HARD. It fades eventually, but as a big fan of Jasmine fragrances, this is single-handedly the most underwhelming and disappointing jasmine products I’ve ever purchased. The smell, to be quite frank, is simply not pleasant. I gave this lotion a solid shot, I wanted to like it – but it’s just terrible.It applies thick and tacky, much like sunscreen and does not easily absorb into the skin, regardless of how long I massaged it. Once it FINALLY absorbs, my skin never felt moisturized. Instead, I felt tacky and dried out. (From about 15 minutes after application and persisted throughout the day)I gave this lotion a few weeks, applied under different circumstances (fresh out of the shower, freshly shaved legs, etc) and it never became pleasant to use.Love your skin and do yourself a favor, there are more affordable, much higher quality products out there.

Great texture for crafters, Definitely recommend.
This lotion works really well and is non-greasy and really easy to spread. I love the texture. I’d give it better stars but it has an almost lanolin lotion smell to it without so much jasmine and I was really hoping for that Jasmine scent. It still works great as a nighttime skin lotion and I don’t mind putting it on my feet with socks before bed. Typically, socks and lotion are not something I can really tolerate when sleeping but this one is so nice that it doesn’t bother me at all. I also sew a lot so my fingertips can feel dry and like the skin will catch on soft fabrics. A small dollop of this on my hands and I can get right back to sewing without leaving any greasy lotion on the fabric. Definitely recommend. I’m going to try a rose scent next in the hope that it won’t smell as much like lotion but I’m still a lifetime customer now!

Smell is out of this world. Like your standing in an orange grove. Orange is my favorite scent. It doesn’t disappoint.

Bottle crushed!
The scent was nice, as the aroma was everywhere. The moisturizer was all over the packaging and was satiny and soft. Had planned it for a gift, but not anymore. Packaging was non-existent, only in a bag, that was crushed after 3 days of out for delivery and was obviously tossed from one vehicle to another a number of times throughout the three days of out for delivery.

I bought these mostly for scent layering with bar soap, body wash, body mists and powder, etc. All are excellent.Lavender – very true scent, medium strong.Iris – quite mild floralVerbena – once spread out on your skin it smells stronger, but still quite mild. Gentle lemon fragrance.Sea samphire – goes really well with aquatic scents like men’s body wash/soaps or Calgon turquoise or gardenia body sprays. Very subtle fragrance.
