Eureka!
I have a size 8W (C) foot. I have been searching for over a year for the perfect variation on this type of 2-piece ankle strap high heeled sandal and I finally found everything I wanted in the Naturalizer ‘Joy’ sandal. I purchased the 8W and it fit my foot perfectly. That was a happy surprise because I usually have to size up anywhere from a half size to a full size and a half in a lot of M width shoes just to get a halfway comfortable fit. These definitely do fit true to size and the straps do not bite into my toes or ankles. I found it to be extremely comfortable to walk around in as well. I can go as high as a 4” heel before I feel unstable or like I’m teetering, so the 3-3/4” heel with the 1/2” platform gave me the same look of the heel height I like, without feeling “too” high. I love that this shoe: 1. Is real leather. – it makes it incredibly soft on the foot 2. Comes in a wide width 3. Has a 3-3/4” slender block heel 4. Has a platform sole 5. Has a fashionable squared toe (for my stubby little toes!). All of these points together add up to one comfortable shoe! I first bought the Barely Nude Leather and was so happy with them straight out of the box that I went ahead and also ordered them in the black (an everyday must!), the metallic pewter (hello red carpet!), and the bordo crocodile leather (I will definitely be rocking those chocolate brown stunners come Fall). I’m so happy I found these. They were definitely worth the wait. I highly recommend.

Cute Basic Sandal
Great sandal! These are so comfortable for walking and dancing. I have wide feet; most of the time in running shoes I wear 8.5 wide, but the 8 wide in these fit me best. I was concerned they might look a little matronly, but they don’t at all, they are just a simple, flattering, versatile shoe.

Comfy dress shoe for all occasions
I purchased the 7W due to my bunions. I haven’t had the chance to wear them out for long stretches at a time yet, but my feet are well experienced with comfort and identifying spots that might be uncomfortable or rub over time creating blisters. I do not anticipate that will be the case with this pair! I looooove the fit, function and fashion of these shoes.One thing to consider, though: The strap around the ankle takes a few times to find the right adjustment. Too tight rubs the back of the ankle to the strap support and too loose lifts the heel rubbing the heel on the back of the shoe. Once I found the right adjustment, the rubbing went away. If I find that my skin will get irritated, I have the small felt foot petals (but for the back of a heel) to put over the strap support that should help. The total foot support while maintaining sophisticated sexy makes it worth placing a little felt sticker on the back!

Comfortable
I am having the hardest time finding heels for my wedding. These are the best I could find that were comfortable, and simple, however, the price is awful. The style is nice, its a classy heel, but the sizing is a MESS. I am a 7.5 M in every single shoe I own, I had to order 3 different pairs to find a size that would work and even after finding a size that was doable, I have to add inserts to it so it fits just right. The size I ended up keeping is 7W, with the gel inserts they fit more comfortably. So my only compliant is having to buy an additional product to an already expensive product.

All Day Comfort
These heels are some of the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever worn! They are a little narrow in the front, so if you have wider feet, it may not fit the best. I walked around and was standing for over 2 hours in these shoes and I could have continued even longer! They are amazing! Buy them! You won’t regret it.

Expensive, not durable, made me bleed
I only wore these shoes 2 times and the strap had broken. Plus, if you see the other shoe, it gave me blisters that bled. Very disappointed since these shoes were featured on lists for comfort heels and were over $150. I’ve also reached out for a return through both Naturalizer and Amazon, and neither were helpful. I would really appreciate if someone from customer service reached out to help me with a return. This is very disappointing and expensive.

Beautiful and SO comfortable
I am such a stiletto girl but my 43-year-old feet might not be anymore, I just needed some options that still felt feminine and classy without such a skinny heel. I love these with jeans and with dresses, so cute and easily wore them all day the first wear. They do get a little sweaty because of the material on the inside of the foot but I can put some sort of liner in them. They are a little lighter than the pictures but so far well-made and gorgeous. I do have skinny feet so they might be a little tight across the toes if you have thicker, chubbier feet.

1/2 size too big!!!
My entire adult life I have been a size 7, regardless of brand, I should have known right away when I tried them on, but I was so excited to go out to dinner in them that I ignored the obvious, they are for sure a 1/2 size too large for me. Thank God for the ankle strap, otherwise they would have had me a@@ over tea kettle the first time I got out of the car. I feel like I’m a kid, wearing my mom’s shoes. I shouldn’t have worn them out. I should have gotten a smaller size. I still might. They’re super cute and comfortable. But SIZE DOWN. Especially if you ordered wide. This is now the second pair in a week I purchased from Naturalizer, and apparently they just make shoes that are 1/2 a size bigger than everyone else. I managed to return the other pair.

Arrived a lot quicker than I expected – and were cheaper than buying direct from Naturalizer.I used to wear heels a lot in my 20’s with no issue. However since my late 20’s-30’s I find high street heels with a decent sized heel have become very painful to wear. These are a game changer.I wore these at a wedding reception and danced all night with no issues. It’s a whole new world.

I was so pleasantly surprised by this shoe. It is more muted gold or metallic beige than bronze which was perfect for me. I am a 7.5 in most shoes and this was perfect. A bit tight across the toe strap as others have mentioned but it will stretch out Im sure. The platform makes it so comfortable, I could not be more excited to wear them to my wedding.
