I love everything about this scarf and packaging. I am getting them for gifts, and so far I am sending back 4 times because of horribly crushed and damaged boxes! This includes returns I’ve received because they were placed in a basic black box without the luxury packaging and everything inside, like the nice storage pouch!!! I have no idea why this keeps happening but I love the scarf so much I will keep buying and returning until they get it right!! Assuming they do!!! (so far 2 are good) Terrible quality control!! The scarf itself is soft, perfect length (not too long). Very elegant and good quality.

It is legitimately gift-ready the moment it lands on your doorstep; no extra wrapping required. If you’re shopping for someone who appreciates quiet luxury, that alone is worth a few extra points.The color is listed as “Wine Red,” but in person it’s a deep, rich, saturated true crimson. It’s one of those shades that looks expensive against navy, charcoal, camel, or black outerwear. The dyeing is perfectly even and has that subtle luminous depth you only get with high-quality cashmere.The feel is everything you hope for: buttery, cloud-like, borderline addictive to pet, not a coarse outer coat hair mixed anywhere in the yarn.At 59″ × 10″ it’s a classic fashionable scarf length—long enough to loop once and let the ends hang handsomely over a peacoat or topcoat, but not so long that it becomes bulky.Where it loses a little ground is thickness (or rather, the lack thereof), and upkeep. This is a lightweight weave: plenty warm for crisp fall days, holiday parties, or mild early-winter outings, and it looks unabashedly stunning as a refined accent piece. However, it is not a East-Coast or Midwest blizzard kind of scarf. Wind does cut through it, and the dimensions are too slim to wrap all up over the chin, ears, and head all bundled. If your winters regularly dip below 20 °F/−6 °C with wind, you’ll want something heavier for daily duty, and you’ll want to protect it from salt and grime as the care instructions are strictly Dry Clean Only, not even Hand Wash with shampoo, or a specialty wool light soap.At $76 retail, I’d call the price fair-to-good for pure cashmere in this rich saturated color, weight, and finish, especially with the presentation. It’s not the cheapest cashmere you’ll find, but it’s a noticeable step above the thin, market flooding pilling-prone cheap technically cashmere wool that sneaks coarse outer-coat hair in to bulk up the yarn.Bottom line: If you’re after an absolutely gorgeous, soft-as-a-whisper scarf for style points, dressy occasions, or milder climates, this is a stunner and an easy five-star experience. If you need serious warmth and wind protection for harsh winters, treat this as a luxurious fashion piece and keep a chunkier scarf for the truly cold days.Either way, it’s the kind of thing that makes you smile every time you open the box. Highly recommend for gifting (or for treating yourself and pretending someone else has excellent taste).
