Before you buy a designer… buy Kattee!
I wanted to splurge or something like a designer bag but then when I looked at prices I realized that I never even had a leather purse so I decided on this company to purchase and this style and I can’t be more happier than my decision it’s one of the most beautiful bags I’ve ever seen and bought material is top-notch and quality the Stitch is beautiful and the design is very smart has space for everything and I just love it thank you so much

If I could give this purse more stars I would – it’s great! As I read in the reviews of this purse, it did arrive and had a terrible smell inside the purse. I lined it with dryer sheets for a few days, then sprayed the inside with my favorite perfume. That took all the smell away. I am so happy that I did this because this purse is exactly what I was looking for. It’s large but easy to carry. It has two compartments with a zipped pocket in between and three inside pockets; easy to fit all the things I need for everyday with enough room to find items easily. There is a bonus zippered pocket on the outside. The craftsmanship is excellent; the purse is not stiff but is very sturdy. I highly recommend this purse.

Great Overall Bag for Shopping or Everyday Use.
Very nice bag for shopping or everyday use. I’ve had it a couple years and it’s held up well. The only reason I took off one star was more personal, in that I prefer a completely open bag than one with the center zip section.

I love this bag! I want it in another color. It is durable and hold all of my things for work and shopping. It slings over my shoulder perfectly. I have had it for over a year now and it still looks great.

Fantastic, well-made bag. The shoulder strap won’t stay put after you adjust it, so I had to resort to a do-it-yourself rivet kit. Otherwise, it gets lots of compliments from people who love the look.I work in marketing and have a lot of items I carry to work every day, this is by far the best way I’ve ever found to carry it all, it’s very comfortable to carry for a long time even with all of this in it.Update – 3 years later it’s still in pretty good shape! It doesn’t look worn at all from the outside, although there have been a few points of failure over the years:- Main zipper failed after about a year, the teeth started being loose and not meshing properly. The zipper can probably be fairly easily replaced, I haven’t tried yet.- The shoulder strap does NOT stay in place, after less than 10 minutes of walking with the bag the shoulder strap will have stretched to its max length. The adjustment buckles are not particularly strong or effective. Fixed this with some big ugly safety pins inserted directly below the adjustment buckles, it’s a bit tacky but it keeps the strap from sliding down. It gives the bag character, is what I’m going with- The strap gets bunched up in the metal loops that attach it to the bag. It’s functionally fine, but it looks ugly. This is probably just a function of the strap wearing and becoming less stiff.- The shoulder “pad” isn’t padded at all, so when the bag is holding a lot of stuff your shoulder will tire quickly.Otherwise though, I am VERY pleased with this purchase. It holds my Surface Book, Canon 70D (in a padded insert I purchased separately), extra lens, charging brick and cables, notebook, pens, several power bricks, and more with ease. It still gets the occasional appreciative look when I bring it places. It allows me to carry WAY too much stuff on a daily basis, but I’m a big guy (6’3″) and it’s not hard to tote around everywhere.

Beaufitul, great quality tote bag!
I received my Kattee tote bag three days ago. It looked exactly as in the photos online. I was nervous about the really bad smell reported in many reviews, but found my bag only had a typical leather smell. It was also concerning me that I could be getting either the 2019 version or the updated one and, to my delight, I received the newer on with the wider shoulder straps and the rivets on the bottom of the bag. I love the rich brown color and the sleek, shiny look. The quality seems very good. Reviews had commented on the cheap inner lining and only time will tell whether that is a problem. The zippers are smooth. There are just enough pockets inside the tote bag for my needs with two of them open (~2.5″x3.75″, 3.5″x3.75″) and one small zipped one (~6.5″x4.5″ w/6.25 opening at the zipper), as well as the large zipped one (~6″x13″w/12″ opening). I feel safe zipping my wallet inside the large inside pocket, since the tote is zippable on top as well. Due to this and the great look it is the first time I have ever used a tote as my purse and a tote bag and it’s working out very well. I carry my compact umbrella, phone w/charger & cord, mask/gloves along with the usual purse contents. I added a catalog, a manual (~8.75″x11.75″ ea.), plus snack boxes (~5.5″x6″ ea.) and was still able to zip the tote! I hope the bag handles will be able to stand up to similar loads! I may update in a few months.

Handbag = 5 Stars, Straps = 1 Star
The bag itself is great. Perfect size, nice leather and holds shape extremely well. Purchased in 2019. Used for exactly 9 months before the straps started to fall apart. Bag is in perfect condition, no blemishes on the bag and liner is in great shape. Unfortunately, the straps are not the removable type and have completely shredded and peeled at across the top of the strap and at various other locations along the strap line. What a waste of a good bag. I wouldn’t have minded if the straps were removable and could have been replaced, but why bother with a leather bag if the straps are not made of the same durable material. It’s really too bad as I loved the bag.

Far Exceeded Expectations
If I could give 6 stars I would. The blue leather is soft and supple, and stitching is excellent. Plenty of inside pockets for staying organized. A fabulous bargain for a high end bag!
