Facial Skin Hydration Tester
Alright, I have to be honest with y’all. When I first saw this, I thought it was some kind of a gimmick that spas were going to start using to try to upsell you extra products. But I think this thing actually works! The red reading shows my reading straight out of the box (I do like that it was already charged). I tried it on both sides of my face with no makeup on me or anything, and one side actually read that I was more dehydrated on one side than the other side. The green reading shows hydration of my skin after about an hour out from doing my nightly skincare routine, with double cleansing, toning, and using all my bougie products like my niacinamide, hyaluronic acid, moisturizing creams, etc. Big, huge difference! I’m concerned now, though, that at my age, I can only achieve this with the application of products. Even after drinking 96oz of water in a day, the device said my facial skin still wasn’t hydrated enough.
