Fantastic Value And Such Selection
These are quality jeans with that little 2% lycra stretch to form fit to the body and also wash and wear much better than pure cotton. The Amanda hi rise is a better fit for my girlfriend and I am sure most women. The moroccan spicecolor is so unique and is really a dusty rose. The color and size options are so varied that these jeans are in their own marketing zone for desirability. I am sure people will still buy $100+ designer jeans but these GV will make you look so good for so little.

GREAT buy, excellent fit for my body type.
Ohmygosh! If you’re trying to decide whether or not to get these jeans, I’m going to encourage you to definitely go for them! They are a GREAT value, really well made, extremely comfortable and look great too.To give you a frame of reference, I’m 5’1.5”, weigh 158 lbs (and I’m continuing to lose) with an hourglass figure. Not a perfect hourglass as there’s more sand in that bottom area than I really like but pretty near a standard hourglass. I ordered a 16s and these are perfect albeit just a wee bit too long for me to wear flats. But with a bit of a heel they’ll fall perfectly.I will mention that I no longer like to wear tight jeans. I’m happy to have some breathing room and these have a nice fit. Not too tight but not baggy either.I usually wear NYDJ and I still have a couple of pair that I wear often. But they’ve seen better days and I felt I needed a new pair of jeans so I opted for these. I also like that the material is a bit sturdier than my old jeans.The stretchy jeans don’t work for me really.I hope this review helps you to decide. They really are a good buy!

Comfortable fit
They fit comfortably and I like the stretch and material. They are comfortable and best for casual wear because they look a little baggy. I wish the legs were more narrow so I could wear them for dinner or business casual. I will enjoy these and hope to find a 2nd pair by the Gloria Vanderbelt with slimmer legs.

Zermatt is tightly stitched around the waist and not true size
I bought the Zermatt and the Calisto jeans, as I needed to try my size. (6 Short)The zermat was made in Cambodia and the fitting was literally squeezing my waist. No wonder it was sold at that price.The Calisto fit me snug and perfectly. Ofcourse I have to alter the height as I am petite size.The Calisto material was really soft and wonderful on my skin. The Zermat was also good but compared to calisto, it was just meh. Overall good product but size could have been stitched a little generously like the Jordan made Calisto.

Great fit and feel and pretty color
I recently tried this style of jeans from Gloria Vanderbilt. I really like how they feel and how they fit, but they are a bit big in my waist. That’s because I have the classic pear shape. I’m currently at 170 lbs and 5′ 8.5”, so I like the fit of size 14. The extra room in the waist will allow me to tuck in my shirt or blouse, maybe even a lightweight sweater, which I would not try until having recently lost enough weight to do so.This huckleberry color is a really nice shade of red. It’s kind of a cool wine color. I won’t be saving them for just the holidays since they aren’t Christmas red, thankfully. I’ll be able to wear a lot of my prints and solids with this color. Yay!The length is great for me and though the legs are considered “tapered”, they aren’t that skin tight look of skinny jeans. My knees tend to be thick, even when I’m thin, so the fit looks much better on me than any skinny jean. And they aren’t that awful wide leg that seems to be “the” trend right now. This jean style is classic and flattering.

Need better quality control on fit
First, I love Gloria Vanderbilt jeans in the Amanda style and I’ve worn them for years. However, lately I’ve found that the fit varies depending on the country of origin. I recently ordered several pairs and washed them without trying them on. To my surprise, some were too tight in the waist and I had trouble zipping them. When I looked at the country of origin, the ones that didn’t fit were from Jordan. The ones that fit were from Indonesia. Unfortunately, the country of origin can not be specified when ordering. I donated the ones that didn’t fit. Better quality control would definitely help. When they fit, I love the fact that they have deep pockets and come to my waist. They are very comfortable and fit better then any other jeans I’ve tried, when they aren’t from Jordan. It could have been a fluke but I tried ordering more and the same thing happened.

Great quality, great fit, perfect length because they come in different lengths. Durable zipper that stays up. Reasonable lengths, beautiful colors. They go from the washer to the dryer. I wouldn’t advise bleaching.
