Fossil Women’s Rachel Tote Purse Handbag for Women

Great bag
This is a quality bag that is well made and classic. I have had several of Fossil’s Sydney and Rachel totes, and they are my favorite purses. The size is perfect for your everyday needs or for travel. The workmanship and materials make it a long lasting bag. Not the cheapest, but a bargain for what you get.

Absolutely in love!
This is an absolutely perfect tote! I went for the retro looking taupe/ tan patterned one and oh boy I love it! The bag is very light, roomy enough to hold my 16 inch MacBook Pro with plenty of room left for other things like a water bottle, snacks, wallet, etc. I LOVE the fact that it has two outside pockets for quick and easy access, both with magnets! There is also a zipped pocket inside, and the bag is fully lined. I was (again) impressed by Fossil’s attention to detail also when it comes to packaging their products. All the bits and pieces wrapped in tissue paper, and the magnets had been covered with sticker foil. A gorgeous, gorgeous bag!

GOOD everyday bag with some changes
The good: It’s the perfect everyday size bag with enough small compartments to make your life easier while running around. I bought both the Medium Brown and Black. I would not place this in the same category as a Coach bag because the leather here is soft and lightweight and I doubt this bag will last years and years; however, it will be good for a while. The bad: The bottom needs stability, so I had to cut a long piece of cardboard into a strip to fit on the bottom of the bag. Unless you do this, anything heavy in the bag will cause the bottom to sag downward, which is not a good look. With that being done, I put everything back into the bag and it no longer sags. It fits Very comfortably on the shoulder without slipping off. The top zipper will keep your things covered and safe. For this sale price on Amazon, the bag is worth the money.

12/26/23 This is an update to my previous review below. This bag was advertised as 100% cowhide leather. While the body of the bag is intact and real leather, the handles are not!! Now I have spent almost $150 in a bag whose handles are peeling off (look at the picture). What a scam!!!!Original review: Exactly as advertised. I like that I am a big woman and the handles are long enough as well as the size of the purse. It fits everything I need and has a lot of extra space. I specifically loved the 2 hidden pockets at the front and back of it. They have a magnetic closure and are perfect for your cellphone and keys respectively.The purse also looks well made and not cheap at all.
