I have owned many loafers in the past, including very expensive pairs from Tod’s, but I always had to go back to comfortable sneakers because loafers were simply unbearable for me—too hard, causing blisters, discomfort, and pain. That was until I finally discovered the Cole Haan Geneva Loafer.From the moment I slipped them on, I knew these shoes were different. I now wear them every single day. Initially, I ordered them one size too big and had to exchange them for a smaller size. That was the best decision—now they fit perfectly.They are incredibly comfortable to walk in, and while I did feel a little pressure on my left heel during the first two days, the shoes broke in very quickly and now feel like they were made for me.I usually wear them barefoot, sometimes with socks, and they remain comfortable either way. I love them so much that I immediately bought two more pairs—one in a lighter shade and another pair of open shoes—because I am confident that they will be just as perfect.The leather is absolutely beautiful. High quality
Very good quality leather. The shoes are somewhat stiff and squeak when I walk. Hoping that will resolve as they are broken in. The foot bed is comfortable and was able to wear them several hours the first day without a problem. True to size.

Snug fit
Cute and comfortable, but after I had to return and rebuy the next size up. Recommended ordering at least 1/2 size up for your normal.

Perfect Comfort for Lengthy Walking/Business Attire
Wowwww! These shoes are soooooooo comfortable!!!! Cole Haans did it with these shoes. First, I recommend breaking the shoes in, with whatever tricks one has to do so with leather shoes, prior to wearing them long term.I did not. My feet and ankles swelled. BUT, they did not hurt!. The Lug soles and padding in these shoes made walking on concrete floors for 3-5 miles a day, a breeze. I work in a large hospital.It took the first four days of wear to break the shoes in and they look so good with my business slacks. I not only feel really good while wearing them, I feel “put together” with my entire ensemble each day.I ordered a 10 wide and will get a 10 1/2 (weight gain). In my experience, these shoes fit average size, so order your normal size.The quality of these shoes after wearing them for over a month, every day, yes everyday, has just blown my mind with the durability of the material, the look of the shoe remaining attractive and MOST importantly, the comfort level staying on point from day to day.
