A hobbit’s dream
I am 5’8″ 150lbs., I bought the medium in light green. This is a very comfortable, simple and soft, 100% cotton dress. I love how it looks with my pearls. I love how I look classy but feel like I’m wearing an oversize comfy worn out t shirt. I love how it’s cotton because I have a heat intolerance so I specifically only buy breathable / natural materials for my summer wear. This dress is at a good price point. I would label it as cottagecore, especially the light green. 🥰 I feel like a hobbit in this dress.My recommended size based on size charts and measurements was a L. Everything I own is a L so I went with it. It was huge. I returned it and ordered a Medium, it fits perfectly. So, size down I guess.

Comfy, cute, and modest
One of my favorite dresses, I’m about to get it in the green as well. I wear this one at least once a week because it’s comfortable but also looks more put together than jeans and a t shirt. I guess if you like your curves to show, this may not be the dress, but I don’t find that necessary as I’m married and not looking to attract attention in that way.Nice thick fabric! Soft but not in a polyester kind of way. I only hope that more earthy colors would be offered!

Sizing is random but quality of material is very good
I ordered three of these dresses in different colors from Chouyatou, thinking that my summer wardrobe would be complete. While I have ordered previously from this company and been very happy with the dresses, all three of this style were very disappointing. The sizing is definitely off and to increase your odds of actually keeping the dress you might as well order one size above and one size below what you think might fit and return the ones that don’t. Inexplicably, the light apricot dress also had a sewn in cotton lining – which made it unbearable for summer wear.On a positive note, the dresses are sewn very well and the cotton material is very comfortable. The colors are also great… The problem is the randomness of the chest measurements and the length of the bodice.

Needs a warm iron after washing
It is a beautiful dress that fits true to size 2x, is comfortable to wear, and has a flowy skirt. I like the way it looks on me.It needs ironing after being washed, and the wrinkle spray doesn’t help.

Fabric is actually amazing. Cotton, fresh, none of that fake cloth feeling. Fit is a bit baggy but cute since that’s the style. I actually love love love this dress. I’ll be buying more. One star to help you see a good review and get you to think twice about all the negative reviews.

Beautiful drape. Nice heavy 100% cotton that will soften with washing. Color is like dark apricot or copper (called dark orange). Very quality fabric and well made. I normally wear medium and this medium fit nice with room to tighten up with washing. Flattering on me. I have smaller bust and lean frame.UPDATED: Ice Dye technique worked, so truly 100% cotton!! I bought a white version and was surprised to find it lined (the dark orange was not). I Ice Dyed it and the liner took the dye too. I actually wish it did not have the liner because it will make it hot. Picture is of the “White” Ice Dyed and shows the lining too. Took the dye beautifully!!

Cute dress for summer!
I love wearing casual natural-fiber dresses to work in the summer, and this one is all I was hoping it would be! The 100% cotton fabric is soft & a good weight, not at all see-through. I wouldn’t mind if it was a little thinner to be cooler, TBH. It’s a little stiff, but it should soften after washing, which I intend to do on cold & hang dry to prevent shrinking. Just hope it doesn’t wrinkle up too much!I have a 46″ bust so I was a little concerned about the XXL being big enough in that area, but it is perfect!! However I’m a 38 FF, so my bust is disproportionally large to the rest of me, which is more XL. I found the arms to be fine, even roomy. I’m 5′-6″ and the length is good, well below the knee. I may hem it shorter after washing & wearing, we’ll see.Overall very pleased! Considering purchasing another color I like it so well!
