    Favorite hiking pants
I like the fabric material- breathable and light, quick to dry. Perfect for summer, not ideal to wear alone in winter but will pair well with a base layer because it’s straight fit and very comfy. Plenty of pockets, some with zippers. Beside outdoor activities, I also wear them for work (I normally wear scrub pants but these are great alternatives). Jogger styled pants with adjustable ankle cuffs- prevents bugs on hikes.

    Great Quality and Comfort
Extremely comfortable. The material is lightweight, soft, and great for everyday wear or outdoor activities. The fit is true to size and very flattering. No issues at all, definitely worth the purchase.

Quick dry and light travel pants
I wore these pants happily all over Europe for hiking and general travel. I’m 5’4” 133 and M fit great. The drawstring waist doesn’t roll down and fits nicely- no bubble butt effect. The zipper pockets are handy. I used the pull-cord bottom to shorten the legs a bit, but the string made a weird loop that I wondered about getting caught on things. I re-wore the same pair multiple days and rinsed them in the sink, and they were dry without wrinkles the by the next morning. The only thing I noticed was that the fabric was not super breathable- although it is light. I felt a little sweaty after sitting for a while and wondered if it was b/c of the fabric. Still nice, comfy pants for the money.

    Perfect petite length
I ordered the caramel color baleaf pants in size M with 27″ inseam. I’m 5′ even, 135 pounds, most of my pants are medium or size 8 and my legs are chunky. Inseam was PERFECT but I really like the pull cord at the ankle so that if I’m barefoot I can make sure I do not step on the pants. Pockets are huge (every one is big enough for my passport AND my huge Android phone), fabric is soft, as someone else mentioned “no swishy noise” – these are silent. These feel like I could go down a size, but I intend to wear these while traveling and I want to leave space to put wallet/phone/passport in the pockets. For the plane ride, I had headphones, hard candy, wallet, passport, tissues, chapstick and a pen with plenty of room if I needed to add anything else. These are roomy enough that I could easily wear an underlayer with room to spare. If you are on the fence, I would size down because these are VERY roomy. I wore them for a trip and was SO excited to have secure pockets, super light-weight for the hot climate I was in, extremely comfortable on a plane ride. I found the other reviews with photos to be super helpful so I wanted to post mine too.

Fantastic pants, but probably need to size down
Super comfortable, well fitting pants that move with you, even in a deep squat, without restricting. One of my very favorite features is that they lined the waist band with a softer material. Game changer! My other pairs of hiking pants don’t have this, and the main fabric doesn’t feel as nice against your skin as this lining does. Well done, baleaf. I was concerned the ankle toggles would be annoying or ticklish, but I don’t even notice them. For me the length is perfect with sneakers and with mid hiking boots. I am 5’4″ and got the 29″ pants. I am a size 10 and generally order a large in pants. When I ordered these in large, they were way too big so I returned those and got these (medium) which fits perfectly. Might be because this brand’s “large” is 12/14 when other brands’ “large” is 10/12. I bought these mainly for an upcoming backpacking trip, but having tested them out wearing them to work (I’m a chiropractor, working in a gym setting), I think I’m safe to review them now. I usually wear tights when backpacking but pulling them back up when sweaty after pottying is so difficult and these are very quick drying and allow for more air flow. I’ll update this review IF I find something about them that warrants fewer than 5 stars after my trip. As it is, I anticipate getting a second pair for the trip. This was an Amazon brand purchase win for me.

I’m 5’5″, 165 lbs., usually wear a size 14 in jeans, and I got the black in 29″ length.I don’t like clothes that advertise brand names, so am not crazy about the brand name of these pants on the leg. But they are truly the perfect travel pants otherwise. Lots of zippers for everything, lightweight, comfortable, and the black goes with all of my other travel clothes. They’ve held up well in a wide variety of circumstances. They are surprisingly cool in stifling Thai heat, yet dry quickly after a rainstorm. I’m thinking about getting another identical pair right now.

Much nicer quality than the price would imply. Really pleased!! They’re flattering, even though I gained an extra 20lbs before my hiking trip. Bought a pair in the rust color (beautiful in person) and a pair in black. They were for my Alaska trip this past July. They’re so comfy and look put together. The rain did not come thru the hiking pants to my skin. Temperature was perfect for hiking in the summer in Alaska weather. I’m now using them to hike in Wisconsin autumn. The pockets are spacious enough for my giant Samsung Galaxy to fit in securely. Really great pants. Plan to buy more gear from Baleaf in the future. Kudos to their design team.

    Flattering and Water Resistant
These are very lightweight and truly water resistant—light rain beads and rolls right off. The fit is very flattering, and I like the zippered pockets and locking drawstring at the ankles. I am 5’5″, 136 lbs, a size 6 (28) in jeans, and the medium fit me perfectly. (I would have to go up a size if I wanted to wear them over leggings.) I bought the 27″ inseam because I wanted them to look slightly cropped (and they do). The 28″ would have been fine too. I have quite a few Baleaf products, and they all of good quality.

Ciao!
