More of a root darkener than a dry shampoo
Does have a bit of a different texture than other similar dry powder shampoos. It does go on darker so if you have issues with hair loss or greying this is perfect but I would still use another dry shampoo to absorb oil. As a person struggling with hair loss right now it works for me

Easy to apply and does the job when others don’t. I stock up when it’s on sale and keep on auto-ship. Great for travel or to keep in car or gym bag. It does add grit to hair, but helps extend a style 2-3 days.

Stains.
I don’t know how most don’t review this part but the fallout is insane. I have the black one and even though I was extremely careful, I was left with black marks on face, counter, hands, which will not come off without soap. I lightly dipped the puff into the black once and carefully applied to the top half of my hair. After seeing the fallout, I used a scalp brush, a regular brush, my fingers all to shake out excess or try to get it to absorb – which didn’t work and created a mess. The photo is hours after application and trying those things but running my hand through my hair a few times to see if it was better. I do worry if it would stain clothes (I wore black today just in case) and my sheets/pillows that are white. So i will have to shower tonight and will toss the product.It did give coverage at the roots and minimize the grease but to me the cons wayyy out weigh those pros – especially when other dark aersesol dry shampoos work (but don’t cover root grow out). It is too big of a headache.

Great in theory, but in practice you’ll have the hands of a chimney sweep
I was excited to use this brown colored powder after using the normal white one, thinking it would be easier to blend in. I like that they had a shade of brown that matched my hair perfectly (a little cooler, ashy tone) and it did indeed blend in. The downside is… anytime I touched my hair, my fingers came away looking smudged in soot. While rubbing the powder in with my fingertips like usual (the puff only does so much), I was thankfully near a sink and could wash my hands fully with soap. But throughout the day, I’d glance at my hands and see suddenly dirty fingernails (from the powder) and start looking at my work headphones to see if any powder had transferred. I do like the color and it’s a great idea in theory, but in practice I’d need to be near a sink periodically and check my belongings and face for soot.

FANTASTIC PRODUC, HORRIBLE APPLICATOR
5 stars for efficacy, but knocking off 2 stars for the applicator.Okay guys, this dry shampoo works. I have combo oily skin, and my roots get greasy the next day after washing. I’ve tried it all: high-end, drugstore, DIY, powders, shampoo swaps, water filters… you name it. This is the first product that keeps my hair looking clean for two full days without needing a touch-up (maybe just a tiny bit behind the ears).So why only 3 stars? The applicator. It dispenses way too much product at once and is really hard to control. One tap at the crown and a cloud of powder lands in one spot, leaving a visible white or gray cast unless I rub it in like crazy. Because of this, I go through the tub so fast, like one a week! At this price, that’s just not sustainable.I will repurchase because the formula is that good, but next time I’ll be applying it with a big makeup brush (since the chamber opens up) to better control how much I use.

The dry shampoo is okay, not great and doesn’t feel like it completely absorbs the grease so you need to use more which creates extra build up and need to wash your hair sooner anyways. It is nice to have the dark brown tint but it does get everywhere and on your skin so it will need to be washed off. If you scratch your head you will get the dark residue under your nails and is tough to get out from underI do like the container and the sponge part

To everyone worried about the container design and the product going everywhere, all of these people are using it wrong. It says in huge letters on the container DO NOT EVER OPEN UNLESS REFILLING. It’s like a new marker that starts out white until you tap it a bunch of time to get the ink to come through. You just keep tapping the pad on your skin and the product comes through the pad. It works great, covers the thinning parts of my scalp (see photos). I used to use a brown dry shampoo in addition to a scalp make up. Now I have both in one. The texture of my hair is still soft and less oily. My only complaint is when you rub it through your hair or touch your hair at all it heavily comes off on your fingers so you have to make sure to wash them and be cautious if you touch your hair throughout the day. It’s probably the worst one you’re initially rubbing it in and after that just try to stay away from your roots. But I kind of already got this from the spray brown dry shampoos anyway. It also matches the color of my hair perfectly.

Après avoir essayé plusieurs marques de shampoing sec, celui-ci est de loin mon préféré et le seul que j’utilise maintenant. Le contenant est petit et portable, idéal pour voyager. Comme il est en poudre, il ne compte pas dans les limites de liquides lorsqu’on voyage en carry on. Le produit s’applique facilement et a une meilleur durabilité que les autres que j’ai essayé, j’ai besoin d’en appliquer moins souvent. J’ai les cheveux brun moyen et le produit régulier me convient et ne laisse pas de pellicule blanche bien que je sais qu’il y a aussi une formulation pour les cheveux foncés. Il n’a aucune odeur et n’est pas volatile comme des produits en spray où une bonne quantité de produit se répend dans l’air (et nos poumons) plutôt que dans les cheveux à l’application. Le contenant, bien que petit, dure longtemps comme il n’y a aucune perte.
