    Even better than I expected
I love it when a product exceeds my expectations as this one did. More about that below. First please note that this is rated at 5,000 for “water resistance.” A rating of 5,000 is not meant to be totally waterproof in extended heavy rains, but I have an umbrella to help in that case. However, I tested this jacket by putting my arm (the sleeve) under my kitchen faucet with the cold water fully on for about 15 seconds. The water rolled off and my arm stayed dry. (For even better water resistance this brand also offers a more expensive version rated at 10,000, which would be better and more waterproof for extended hiking, etc.) This one rated at 5,000 should work fine for what I need, though, and I like its features a little better. I don’t know how wind resistant it may be.What I love about this rain jacket: The Fog Blue color is accurately shown on my screen, a lovely soft pale blue with perhaps a tiny touch of gray and aqua tones. I was concerned that it would be too short for a rain jacket, but on me (5’3″) it comes to just below the tush; longer than on the model and is the coverage I like. I ordered my regular size and it seems true to size. It’s fine over a regular shirt or top, but for layering over a thick sweater you might want to size up. I bought it for warmer weather and travel and it’s about perfect. The sleeves are a little long on me (I usually order petites) but the elastic keeps the wrists in place. No complaints at all so far.The hood fits well; it extends a little but doesn’t fall down over my face, and if I push it back a little it stays. It’s not adjustable at the back, but on me it fits fine as is. I love the four pockets, two for your hands that can be zipped and two deep inside pockets that don’t zip. (I”m glad they’re not on the chest because that would put the contents sitting out in front of one of the “girls” and look weird.) The jacket is also very lightweight and thin, and I was able to fold and roll it to get it inside the storage sack on the first try, with a little final cramming. The zippers are the same color as the jacket and seem good quality. The front placket covers the zipper. The jacket arrived with the hood rolled inside the collar and you wouldn’t know it was there. No need for the hood to be detachable. Only a tiny very subtle brand logo that looks like a triple figure 8 near the bottom, no words, and almost invisible and unnoticeable. The jacket is hand washable, air dry, which is okay as it’s not a jacket that will get daily use. I ordered it mainly to take on a river cruise and I’m very pleased with it. It’s also a great value, much less expensive than the name brands.

    Very happy with this
I just received my jacket in light green. The color is a bit different from what I expected—more of an olive green than a bright light green—but I actually like it! It’s a nice change from the usual black jackets I wear. The material feels soft and comfortable, and the fit is great. I ordered XL so I can layer a sweater underneath in colder weather, and it works perfectly. The seams are sealed, the pockets are exactly as described, and overall it feels well made. It’s also very lightweight, which makes it ideal for travel. The travel pouch is a little bigger than it looks in the pictures, but still convenient—you can easily fold the jacket into a compact roll. The hood also rolls up neatly into the collar, which I really appreciate. As for the waterproofing: this jacket has a 5000mm waterproof rating, which means it’s designed for light to moderate rain, not for hours of heavy downpour. Some reviewers mention it’s “not waterproof,” but this is simply a matter of understanding the rating. For quick showers, light rain, and travel, it’s exactly what I needed. What Waterproof Rating: 5000mm / Breathability: 5000g/m2/24hr really means:1,500–5,000mm: Water-resistant, suitable for light rain and dry snow.5,000–10,000mm: Waterproof for light to moderate rain and average snow.10,000–15,000mm: Good waterproofing, handles prolonged moderate rain or heavy showers.16,000–20,000mm: Highly waterproof, protects well in heavy rain and wet snow.20,000mm+: Superior waterproofing, designed for extreme conditions. So yes—this is indeed a waterproof jacket, but within the 5,000mm range, which is absolutely fine and clearly stated in the description.Overall, I’m very happy with this jacket—it’s lightweight, comfortable, packable, and perfect for travel or everyday use in light rain.

    Lightweight and breathable!
I like this rain jacket allot. It looks really nice on. The fit is kinda tight around the breast but it’s probably just me. Seems to be a good quality material. Very lightweight and breathable. Most importantly it’s rainproof. Very comfortable to wear. Folds up and fits into small bag for easy transport. You can also fold hat into collar. Zipper closure or Velcro. Just an all around great rain jacket!

    Nice Quality Jacket
I spent hours looking on Amazon for a windbreaker. I chose this one and I am happy I did. I love the color. It’s a beautiful dark plum color. The zippered outside pockets are nice with extra slots inside the front of each side to put papers/etc. I like it’s length which goes past my bum. But it is a bit large for me. I am 5′ 4″ and weight 127 lbs I got a size medium and a small probably would have fit better, but I do have long arms so this jacket’s arm length probably fits better. I’m keeping it because it will easily fit another fleece jacket inside or a fleece long sleeved pullover which would then give me layers for a winterized jacket. I like that it is not lined, so I can layer it myself or just wear it in the cooler months but keep out the wind. I haven’t worn it in the rain yet, but the seams are all taped and it seems like it will do a good job of being water resistant/or proof. It feels and seems to be a high quality item. The fabric is a nice weight and the seams are well sewed.Edited: I got caught in an absolute downpour, the jacket was watertight and there were no leaks. So I’m happy about that!!!

Does what it’s supposed to do!
Very nice, lightweight, packs up small. Great for drizzly days. Room for a sweater under. Inside pocket fits my phone. Nice color. I’m happy.

    Convenient and functional
Bought this to take on a trip to Portugal. It was perfect, and helped to protect from the wind and rain as I toured around outside. It was also extremely convenient to travel with, as it took up little space in my luggage. Highly recommend!

Update!! The coat packs down nicely into the pouch and it fits in the cupholder on the side of my car door, so it’s super packable and takes up very little space. I also had the opportunity to use it on a rainy day and it kept me completely dry! The Rain just beads up and rolls off and doesn’t soak through at all. The material was nice and breathable and I didn’t feel too hot wearing it.This is an awesome rain coat! It’s lightweight and breathable. It comes with a small pouch to pack it into, which I haven’t tried yet, but the coat is thin and lightweight so I’m sure I’ll be able to fold it enough to fit it in. This will be a great coat for travel because of this.I ordered it mainly for the spring/summer and in particular for an upcoming camping trip in case it rains. I ordered 2 sizes, an XL and an XXL. I’m normally an XL, but wanted to make sure that I could wear a sweatshirt underneath if need be. I’m keeping the XXL, as it has the extra room I need without being too oversized and I found the XL to be just a bit too tight for my liking. Keep in mind these jackets do not have any stretch to them, so I recommend sizing up if you want to be able to wear this in the early spring and into fall (with a sweater or hoodie under).I’m not sure yet about the jackets ability to keep me dry, but other reviews have indicated that it does the job and is quite waterproof, so fingers crossed that’s the case. The colour is a nice blue-ish green and it has 2 zip pockets on either side, as well as 2 big pockets on the inside of the jacket as well, which will be great to hold my phone, a small wallet and keys when out and about. All in all, I’m happy with my purchase and recommend to anyone looking for a lightweight and packable jacket.

I bought this jacket for a 2 week trip to Ireland. We were expecting some wet weather but also July warmth so I wanted a jacket that was waterproof but also light, breathable and easy to pack. This jacket more than delivered in every way!!! Totally waterproof but I never felt overheated even on long hikes. Hood pulls tight for windy days. Inner and outer roomy pockets. Packs into a small bag and looked so cute!!! It also has a really nice fit. Well made. True to size. I love this jacket and will be wearing it biking, hiking and golfing!

  9. Amazon Customer

Fits as expected, folds small for packing, useful and attractive rain coat. Keeps you dry for mist and light rain but if it is a huge downpour, then rain does eventually soak through. Would still recommend for the price as if it’s raining that hard you’re heading indoors anyway.

  10. Elaine G

Completely waterproof! Comfortable and lightweight , and rolls up into its carry bag for easy travel. The inside pocket is very convenient, and the hood can roll up into the collar until needed. I highly recommend this jacket!

  11. MiC

Thin but warm. Sizing is good, roomy for XXL. Good for rainy days and autumn. Not so good when it’s really cold and snowy. Unless you wear a thick sweater. That might make it better to be worn out during winter season. Sturdy enough to withstand washing and winds. Nice pockets and zippers. I like how the pockets has zippers too. The hoodie is good. Hoodie can be hidden and tucked away.
