Great Heat Pad
I like this heating pad and the control over the heating. It has a high heat level, the stones allow you to also get cool therapy if you let them sit near an AC. the timer is nice. the cord length is amazing. I have not tired to wash it. the infrared helps with inflammation and for me it works well. I have owned this for two years and its still going strong.

Only half of stones /heating pad works.
This is my 3rd UTK Far Infrared heating pad. I gave away my Jade one. Then bought the large one. It’s been a few years and the large one (tourmaline and jade) has started to fall apart. Stones falling off. Material peeling. So bought this new one. Customer service was great. I posted this one star review and also reached out to the company, I heard back the next day and they have sent a new one to my house. Thankfully, they did not ask that I spend the time and effort to return the defective one.I also like the smaller one that Velcro’s around your lower back. It has a long cord which allows you to walk around while the heating pad does its thing.I have fibromyalgia, and these heating pads are very helpful. They rejuvenate me and energize me. A regular heating pad just doesn’t do that.Original review: I will update my 1 star review if the seller gets back to me. I’m just a few days past my 30 day return period. Only half tire heating pad is working. In retrospect, I think it hasn’t heated the whole time. I just thought it didn’t get very hot. (I usually used it on my back. Today I used it on my lap and that’s how I noticed only half is heating.

Good Quality – good temperatures
I’m shocked i bought such a high quality product from Amazon. Its always a gamble buying from Amazon, but its very well designed. Its nice because its flexible enough that you can use it on different body parts easily – back, legs, heel, shoulders. Its large enough to cover a good portion of legs at a time. It heats up gradually and evenly and you can easily set it to different temperatures and lengths of time with no malfunctions thus far! It’s one of the best products I’ver bought off of Amazon actually. Its a little bulky but I don’t imagine that being different purchasing it somewhere else

Updated review–Great heating pad, great customer service?
UPDATE: After contacting the company, they sent me a new pad and controller, free of charge, and let me know that the heating pad has a 3 year replacement warranty. As a result, I updated my review to 5 stars. Let’s hope this one lasts a good, long time of good use.——————————-This heating pad worked extremely well, providing very good, deep heat that was excellent for relieving the pain and stiffness from my various physical problems (I am a disabled combat veteran who has suffered a number of injuries from my combat and military service). When I bought this heating pad, I was extremely happy at how effective the far-infrared heat worked—it was much better than any other heating pad I have owned. So, despite the cost (I paid $125.01, which is the most I have spent for an electric heating pad by far), this seemed like a very well-worthwhile personal health expenditure.However, ordinary, much less expensive heating pads I have had last for at least 3 to 5 years before they stopped working regularly, and usually at least a year or so after that before failing completely. That’s expected, given how electronic heating pads function with electrical resistance creating heat.But we received this and started using it at the very beginning of September 2021, and it failed on January 13, 2023—not even 16.5 months of usage. We use this 4–5 times per week on average, for sessions of about 30–45 minutes at a time. We treat it very carefully, don’t lay weight on it, and it is outwardly in the same condition that it was when we received it.However, now, for no reason whatsoever that can be fathomed, yesterday it began losing temperature and would not get above 100 degrees F. Today, it got to the 130 degree range for about 3 minutes and then the temperature dropped to the low 100s again and stayed there. I tested the cord with a multimeter and it is getting full current through it, over 120 volts easily. Everything there checks out.So, apparently, the heating wires inside have failed, after only around 16.5 months of easy, careful use of the pad. Unfortunately, since the pad is sewn closed, it isn’t feasible to try open it up and fix it. Electronic heating pads are not supposed to be “repaired” anyway, given the potential hazards for fire and such when you go into it and start fiddling with burned out or broken wires.This is very unfortunate that this really great heating pad has failed so quickly, given that it is about twice as expensive as other heating pads that last more than 2 to 3 or even 4 times as long.And the warranty on the pack is only 1 year, so it’s just outside of the repair or replace window that the company has set for this device.Maybe the company will read this review and do something about that.

I’m already a huge fan of UTK’s Heating Pads, but I was so excited to get the smaller, lap mat! It’s perfect for putting it in the recliner and allowing your back to heal!

THIS IS AWFULL!! I am returning this with a VERY BAD REVIEW!! I JUST RECEIVED THIS TODAY! I HAVE PLUGGED IN AT THE HIGHEST NUMBER POSIPLE! IT WILL NOT EVEN HEAT IT HAS BEEN ON 89. ..WHEN I REVIEWED IT I FOUND NOT ONLY A HOLE ON THE ITEM BUT ALSO FULL OF HAIR AND SCRATHES AND A DIRTY PART THIS IS UNEXCEPTABLE!! I AM RECEIVING AN EXACT ITEM BUT IT NEEDS TO BE BRAND NEW!! THIS IS AWFUL!!!!!!!

Absolutely best heating pad! Bought Oct 2018 and has been working flawlessly. Used for pain, blood circulation, neuropathy as an additional approach. (Lyme, ME, cancer, arthritis etc.).Very different to ‘normal’ pads we used before.Put towel over pad and if used under blanket at night we unplug it and it continues to give off a warm energy. Great feeling.Only problem now is cats are trying to stay on the blanket and my legs have little room.Got the large pad as well and both have really been so helpful in dealing with health issues.

Purchased this for my mum. She’s 85 and having a few challenges with pain in her legs. I took a risk and purchased as mum doesn’t usually go for any new or innovative products. I set it up on her bed at a comfotable temperature and she said that she probably wouldn’t use it. Followed up a week later and found she’s been using it 2-3 times a day. The pain hasn’t gone away completely but she said that using this product relaxes her and certainly makes her feel a lot better. This is great news and much better to have time out a few times a day to relax and recharge and makes for a better day. Long term results will be interesting. The cat loves it too!

I’ve been having a lot of trouble with my back and I was on the brink of bulk purchasing adhesive heat patches when I decided to look into whether infrared heat would be the better solution – I am glad I chose infrared and glad I chose UTK. I think this is a wonderful and much simpler solution since with a single purchase I can have as much heat as I want, wherever I want (not just my back) and I use this heat pad every day. I can very easily use it while sitting in my computer chair, running my own online business, or I can use it sitting up in my bed or lying down, relaxing on the couch, and apparently some people use them in their car as well. I find the heat really great, especially increasing or decreasing the heat at the touch of a button. So far this has been very comforting and has helped relieve muscle tension that spreads like wildfire whenever I have a section of my back twinging and playing up. I haven’t had this long enough to say whether it prevents pain or tension, but I can say it relieves it, and that I’m satisfied with my purchase.

You need to persevere with pad. Not the most comfortable as the pebbles dig into your back, so you think your back is still hurting, but once you remove pad, your back feels a lot better.

Excellent product. Easy to use and helps ease the pain in my back. It covers my pillow and sits comfortably behind me while easing my pain away. It stays on as long as you want it to. I can regulate how hot I want it. The long cable makes for easy connecting to a power source. The attached remote is the best. Never have to hunt for the remote.
