Best Hiking Shoe
Love these! Bought for Alaska travel. Warm, waterproof, rugged and comfortable. Fits true to size like whatever size running/fitness shoe you wear, but that size. Comfortable from the first wear, did not have to break in. Great soles for walking on rugged terrain. I wore these in snow and icy conditions and my feet stayed warm and dry. My only complaint about these shoes is the lacing system. It’s takes a little getting used to to but once you get it down it’s not so bad. I would buy these shoes again and again.

Update (June 30th Hiked once weekly) I enjoy the confidence these shows give me when traveling down steep inclines and includes with loose gravel. They clean up easily after use and feel like gloves for my feet. Not water proof since there’s no rubbery or other material to prevent water entry into the shoes.Ok I’ve only worn these once since buying them. They took me through mud, up gravel and loam and on asphalt. I like how they seem to hug my feet. I gives me a feeling of confidence and comfort. They look good and feel good. Size are true. Fit is excellent. My arches are well supported.

These shoes are a life saver. They are so comfortable!! I even got my husband hooked on them. I’m in them easily for 14 hours a day working outside and these have saved my feet and back. Love them and now stockpile a few pairs incase for some reason they stop selling them.

Best hiking shoe, but hurt my arches
I love these shoes, the tread on these are serious business! I fell 3 times wearing brooks sneakers in the same spot and finally bought these. I give 4 star because the support made my arches ache for 2 days. I ran 10k in the mountains with about 1200 elevation. I know I should give them more break in time, but I’m not hiking every day and these are not every day shoes.

Cheery and Comfortable Hiking Shoes
My new bright and cheery Speed Cross hiking shoes from Salomon just arrived! They are very comfortable right out of the box. I have two different size feet so I was worried about the size. I got a 9.5 instead of the larger 10 after trying some 10s on at REI. I live in fear of blisters! Here are my thoughts:Usage: trail day hikingPros: the extra rubber in the kick toe; the fit, the grippy tread, the easy closing pull tab, they feel great!Cons: the color is a bit bright – not sure about orange and pink together, they look a little like a cross country ski bootBut if you’re going to hike, you might as well have fun shoes and socks! They’ll get dirty anyway!

My very favorite shoes for hiking and travel
I don’t know how many of these I’ve bought over the last decade. I currently own 6 in 3 different versions. I love that they come in fun colors as well as more subdued colors. They have great support and the fit is consistent and true. If I see these on sale I always get a pair whether I need them or not, because eventually I will. These are fantastic trail runners and hikers, but they are also fantastic for daily wear. I lived in both Alaska and the Seattle area for 30 years and these are better on wet, hilly sidewalks than any of my boots! The grip is amazing wet or dry. These are also my fave shoes for site-seeing in places like Europe. The pavers and cobbled stone walkways are no problem for these shoes. We’ve hiked in the Alps and climbed spiral staircases in castles and these kept us sure footed. They are worth the price but the price is usually pretty steep. It shouldn’t stop you from getting them, but you’ll love them so much that sale hunting becomes necessary.

Ho perso quasi un numero in mezzo in più e calzano perfettamente.Ad ascoltare i suggerimenti di Amazon il primo paio l’ho dovuto rendere.Se tutti dicono che serve almeno un numero in più di un certo tipo di scarpe, per giunta con migliaia di recensioni, il sistema deve suggerirlo.——-Aggiorno la recensione dopo due escursioni lunghe.Praticamente un guanto e ottima tenuta nei ruscelli.
