i purchased the 12lb 48×72 to cover my half of the Cal King bed – perfect size for me needs.Quality of the blanket is top-notch. Soft cotten and very comfortable. I was surprised how heavy the blanket truly was and equally surprised how EVENLY WEIGHTED it is throughout the entire blanket.It feels nice (to me) to feel the weight surrounding me. It keeps in enough heat to keep me warm. I like it better than feeling a super light sheet or flimsy blanket. My wife is the opposite. To each their own, right?As far as value, it’s subjective. It fulfills my needs and was reasonably priced (although I missed the 25% discount that I just saw as I write this review).Will update my review after I wash the blanket. So for now, if I needed to, I’d buy another. Very satisfied with this purchase from this manufacturer.

Great for anxiety, its like a big warm hug
This is very nice , feels like a big hug , helps reduce anxiety which i do have, I love this weighted blanket, wished id gotten one a bit lighter as I have Osteoarthritis, osteoporosis and rheumatoid arthritis which makes it damn near impossible for me to move this blanket by myself

Big enough & good weight
My 16 yr old used this last night and said it was wonderful and that she slept the best she has in a long time. She had a smaller 7lb kids one from several years ago, but it was getting too small & not heavy enough. This one covers her completely and is a much better weight now that she is older.The quality seems good; it feels like it will last a while. (Though we just got it yesterday, so obviously I don’t know yet). But my teen gave it 2 thumbs up!

So soft, good weight, a little small
This is a great blanket and very soft. 4 stars because although it says I bought a Queen, the sides don’t extend past the top of the bed meaning it’s difficult to sleep with 2 people without it feeling like a pile of sand in the middle.

The soothing weight makes for a good night’s sleep
Arrived quickly. The minky side is soft and warm, the comforter side is a bit cooler. The weight of it is very soothing. I’m 5’9″ and it is plenty long enough for me. The only drawback might be that it’s harder to turn over due to the weight. On the plus side, it’s harder to toss and turn due to the weight.
