heavy serum, no fragrance
This hyaluronic acid serum is made in USA. The serum comes in a pump plastic bottle. The package can be better. Some serum leaked from the pump head and the pump head was not screwed tight.The serum is thick like hair gel. A good pump should be enough to cover the face. It applies easily but feels heavy on the skin. The face also feels a bit tacky when touched. The skin does somewhat hydrated without extra lotion. I have used it a while and no irritation so far. This serum is true fragrance free for people who needs it. Overall, the value is good for a big bottle.

tacky?
This is A LOT of hyaluronic acid serum but it made my skin feel tacky so I don’t like it very much. I’ve use hyaluronic acid and it doesn’t usually leave my skin feeling so tacky, but it my usual brand has a lot of other ingredients in it.I applied this to my legs because I usually test things on my legs before putting them on my face. I decided not to use it on my face because I didn’t like the tacky feeling.The ingredients listed on the bottle are purified water, vegetable glycerin, sodium hyaluronate, phenoxyethanol, and potassium sorbate. I put the ingredients in an “ingredient decoder” because serum was kind of vague. It said water was a solvent – which is true, it’s something you can dissolve substances in. I’d put purified water on my face. Vegetable glycerin and sodium hyaluronate are moisturizer/humectants. Sodium hyaluronate is a form of hyaluronic acid. Phenoxyethanol and potassium sorbate are preservatives. Preservatives might sound scary but I’ve made DIY beauty products like liquid soap and lotion and you do have to have some kind of preservative, without those the serum would become unsafe to use pretty quickly. I like that this doesn’t have very many ingredients, and I don’t think any of them are concerning.The tacky feeling probably comes from the vegetable glycerin, if you only use a small amount or if your face is very dry you probably won’t have the same issues I do. I keep my face pretty gooped up and I live somewhere humid so it’s just not ideal for me.
