Nice – with two caveats
These affirmation cards are thick and very pretty. They feel really nice in my hand feel nice to flip through. They are a nice tactile tool in my self-help journey. They are coated with a glossy coating, which gives them a really smooth, luxurious feel. However, the glossy coating, combined with the light gold writing on each card, make it hard to see the writing when light reflects on the cards. Also – and this is a bigger deal to me – some of the cards are written in first-person (ie, “I am grateful for this body, this mind, this soul”) while others are written in third-person (ie, “You are capable of amazing things”). Generally speaking, I think affirmations should always be written and said in first-person. Even if that weren’t the case, though, they should all be first-person or all third-person – not mixed. Having said that, out of the fifty affirmation cards that came in my deck, only five are written in third-person. The other 45 are all first-person. Since the majority are first-person, the desk is very usable for me. Going back to how they look – I love how on the back of each card, there are little stars of different shapes and sizes that are lightly embossed on the surface of the glossy finish. These cards are very pretty, which makes me want to use them. So all-in-all, these are 4 out of 5 stars for me. I like them and use them regularly.

Wasn’t expecting these cards to be as small as they are. Super tiny but it does what it’s intended to do. Makes a great stocking stuffer or something to keep on your desk etc
