Great Curling Iron
After 20 years, I had to break down and get a new 1.5 inch iron. This one is great. I love the smaller size. It is lighter in weight and less awkward to use. It heats up nicely and holds the soft curl I am trying to create. The curl will hold good through the day and even into the next. It’s a great quality, especially for the money.

Works well for short to medium hair
This curling iron creates consistent spiral curls and heats up quickly. The double ceramic barrel helps reduce frizz, and the claw clip makes styling easier. It’s straightforward to use and effective on short to medium-length hair.

Not for people with lots of hair
The curling iron is a regular old curling iron. It gets hot and it curls hair. My biggest complaint is that the barrel is so short. I have a lot of hair and this curling iron will take extra time for me to curl all of my hair. This curling iron is 1 1/2 inches shorter than my other one so less hair can wrap around it. (See the picture I’m attaching. I lined up the parts where the curling iron opens. There is a big difference and my other one is a regular length.) You also have to read the instructions to have a gauge of how hot each setting is but it doesn’t tell you a specific temperature. It just says for medium hair set at 11-15 for example. The curling iron is fine and it curls hair but I wouldn’t have bought this one knowing the barrel is so short.

Iron is okay, gets hot and shuts off automatically.. but it has a design flaw, the power button is directly on handle so co stately accidentally shutting off :-/ annoying

Great price with good features
I have very curly hair, 3C-4A and a full head of foiled highlights. I have some pieces of hair that have just been overprocessed. I can hit them with this for 3-5 seconds and boom, I have a full head of curls again. It heats up quickly and the temperature controls are terrific.

I had originally bought the 1 1/2″ wand of the same brand but it didn’t work well for my just above the shoulder length hair, it barely made any curls. I exchanged it for this one and it works much better. I’m sure it would work even better on a bit longer hair but this one gives me large curls at the ends.This is my first curling wand and II was looking for something inexpensive since I’m a beginner and wasn’t sure if it would work well on my hair. I have fine hair so I don’t need a lot of heat and it does the job well, I set it to about medium temperature and hold it for 10 seconds. Good wand for beginners at least.

So I got this way back in 2020 when I desperately needed a new curling iron and the supplier I got my usual brand from was sold out. I’m a professional stylist and I’m not a brand snob, I’m cheap and don’t like spending a lot of money on something when I can find something for less that does the same thing and while I got this without a lot of expectations, I can say I was VERY impressed with the quality and how well it works. I’ve been using it almost every day, multiple times a day, for over 4 years now and it’s still working great! My clients love the beachy waves I give them with this iron, but it also makes really nice curls as well. My only complaint is how short the cord is, I have to turn my chair quite a bit to get all sides of my client’s head but it’s a small inconvenience. I would absolutely buy another one of these when the one I have finally conks out!
