I’m giving it five stars, but you might not.
I’ve never used a sleep mask before and I don’t plan to sleep in this, so my needs maybe different from yours.I chose these for when I have a headache and have to stay home during the day, and the light is filtering through the blinds.Also fourin the evening when I have to sit in my chair, and my husband wants to watch TV, because the lights flickering from the TV are torture to a headache.Since I can make these masks work for me I’m going to give you the positives and the negatives so you know what to expect:PROS:The material is really nice. They are beautifully sewn. I hand washed them without trouble before wearing them and they came out fine.The elastic is good. The buckle works perfectly. Neither are uncomfortable or annoying.They are light weight and extremely soft and luxurious feeling. They rest lightly on my eyes and face with the elastic extended.CONS:They come nowhere near to blocking light 100%.They DO touch my eyelids and eyelashes, if that’s a problem for you. I’m not used to it, but I expected it, and I think I can get used to it. Of course, given an alternative I’d rather not have to.I have a large ”hat” size for the strap, but an medium face and eye shape for the mask, with an angular nose. For me it almost completely shuts out light around the edges, but a little light can leak inaround the nose. If I press the edges in lightly, I can almost 100% close the gap. But I’m not moving around and I’m not sleeping, I’m sitting there in my chair.If you need 100% coverage this probably won’t work for you unless you have close set eyes, smaller eyes and a flatter nose.As for light blocking, it’s not bad with my eyes closed, but if I open my eyes, I can clearly see light filtering through the texture of the fabric. Not bright, but pervasive.My solution is going to be to take the second mask, sit at my sewing machine, and neatly stitch the two together around the edges. Hand sewing would probably do, but might make the material pucker up unless you’re really good at hand sewing.When I lay one over the other, the light blocking is perfect, it’s still not heavy. If they sold one with a darker layer of light blocking – or combined the two into one mask, I would’ve been happy to pay for $10 for just one.I can make this work for me, and I’m perfectly happy to do so because I don’t want to fiddle around with second-guessing what other brands might possibly have MOMME ratings and be actual silk, rather than polyester for $10 or less.For the price, these are absolutely fabulous, but you have to take those other things into consideration or it might be a problem for you.Overall, I’m very happy with this purchase. They are pretty yummy.

Buy the black one. Comfortable and affordable.
I’ll give it a generous 4 stars because 1 out of 2 of the sleep masks is pretty great. The pink mask lets in quite a bit of light, without curtains on my windows currently, I’m getting 2 hours less of sleep. The light difference is pretty drastic between The pink and black masks. The black mask stops light from getting in and the silky feeling is perfect for my face. I haven’t had any breakouts from wearing the mask. They can be a bit too slippery sometimes and slide off my face but it seems the strap in the back just needs to be wider to fix this issue. The nose piece is a bit too short and pushes a little too much on my nose, which is more uncomfortable after having surgery for a broken nose.I never slept with a sleep mask prior to these so I definitely appreciate how much more sleep I have been getting since purchasing them. I’d buy again if the inner material didn’t retain so much heat, the nose piece was taller and I’d buy the black masks only.

Doesnt fit well
It actually is really nice, feels smooth and good on the skin. Also, it lasts for a while, though you have to clean or wipe it every 3 days so your skin doesnt get too dirty which is fine as you probably have to do that for the other ones. However, it does not fit good as it is way too tight for me but it might be because my head is on the bigger side. The only reason this is 3 stars is because of the fit and I had to cut it a little bit because it was too tight and when i tried to adjust it, it was still too tight even at the max.

Sooo soft and gorgeous! Totally blocks out any light and great that it’s adjustable. Well worth the money!
