How to tell genuine silk from fake silk?
1. Touch: If bunching up real silk, it crunches sound like walking in snow. Real silk can become warm when you hold it on your hand, but a fake one will not.
2. Use A Ring: If the fabric is thick enough you may apply this method. The real silk can slide through smoothly and quickly, while fake silk won’t. The fake silk will bunch up or even get slightly stuck on the ring.
3. Appearance:Real silk fits better in person than the fake one.
4. Fire: Real silk burns with smell like burning hair while exposed to the flame. Real silk won’t catch fire and it will stop burning when the flame is moved away. Fake silk can catch fire easily and burns with smell like burning plastic.
LAUNDRY TIPS & MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE FOR SILK SCARF Hand wash in cold water below 30℃ or dry clean is preferable. Using neutral detergent when washing. Do not bleach. Do not wring. Much prettier in person! I use it for my hair, its nice and thin so I don’t get too warm. Only drawback…all the little kids are obsessed with it. My toddler keeps trying to yank it out of my hair :)I think I’m going to have to buy more for the kiddos

Lovely product ideal for gifts
We purchased like 5 or 6 different varieties of this Mulberry silk scarfs to give to friends during a recent trip overseas. Everyone loved them. They are very colorful and soft. Some of them, not all of them, have an insert with ideas on how to wear the scarf which is an added benefit. They come packaged beautifully, ready to give them as gift. Very nice detail. Greatly appreciated. And the price is right as well, they are inexpensive for 100% silk.

PRETTY SILK SCARF, BUT CAME BADLY WRINKLED
Lovely silk, though I would have preferred slightly more muted print colors.It is a birthday gift for a friend and will I think be fine, now that I have dealt with some of the really messy wrinkles. That is my chief complaint. The black gift-style envelope in which it is packed is a nice touch (though the gold bow was wrinkled too), with adequate clear packaging that should have keep it safe, but it was not placed or spread carefully inside that wrap when it was shipped. My solution was to hang the silk scarf in a steamy bathroom during a hot shower, then hung over a damp towel for some hours, which took care of all but the deepest folds. It is still not perfect, but will pass, and probably improve with use.

amazing value
This scarf was really cheap, and so I wasn’t expecting much. I wasn’t even sure it would be real silk. But I was very pleasantly surprised to see it was real silk and the pattern was as lovely as it seemed in the picture. Now that I know it’s decent quality, I’ll buy a couple more. My only complaint is it does not also come in solid colors. I have some patterned dresses and I’d like to use a solid colored scarf with them.The scarf is a good weight and length (70” X 21”). I didn’t want a bulky scarf. The silk is good quality and very soft against the skin.

Ordered two different ones to give as gifts. They are beautiful! Very delicate but they are silk so to be expected. I’m considering ordering another of a different style.

Schal L Gelb und Braun mit Blumenmuster 2x bestellt: der Schal aus der ersten Lieferung wurde vermutlich bereits vorab aus der Verpackung entnommen – er wies an mehreren Stellen offene Maschen bzw. gezogene Fäden auf. Die Reklamations-Abwicklung via Amazon war ok; der Artikel musste neu bestellt werden. Die 2. Lieferung war leider ein totaler Flop: die Farben entsprechen nicht den Abbildungen in der Beschreibung sondern sind extrem blass. Hätte der erste Schal bereits so ausgesehen, hätte ich mir die Nachbestellung gespart. Es scheint sehr unterschiedliche Ausführung identischer Modelle zu geben… Sehr schade und daher keine Kaufempfehlung!
