This crimson necklace consists of two rows of 15 tagua beads, sliced thinly.
The beads are approximately 1.25 inches by 1.5 inches (3 cm by 4 cm).
The entire length of the necklace is 40 inches long (100 cm) with 10 inch (25 cm) long leather ties on each side of the beads.
Tagua grows on palm trees in the Amazon Rainforest in Ecuador. Indigenous people gather the nuts and dry them in the sun. Tagua is harvested sustainably from the Rainforest. It’s very hard, light and durable and can be carved just like ivory.

Beautiful and high quality necklace.
This necklace, I got the teal color, is built well with quality cord and beautiful beads to complete the look. It has two strands of nuts making it a great statement necklace. I like that the cord is strong and long so that I can wear it as long or adjust to short necklace. It is light weight so I will take it on my next trip to Hawaii. I would like to see this necklace in a yellow/orange color. Beautiful craftsmanship.

I wish the necklace had a metal clasp!
I love the look of this necklace and like that the beads are made from natural material. I would buy many different styles and colors if they were strung with metal rather than leather or if they just had a metal clasp. The ends of the leather sliding clasp stick out awkwardly in back so I don’t enjoy wearing it. It’s a shame.
