Pleasantly surprised by quality and fit
Recently I’ve developed some arthritis in my hands, which makes it hard to tighten and tie regular laces. I’m starting to explore slip-on quick-lace shoes but didn’t want to spend too much money on shoes that might not work out. The NORTIV 8 quick lace hiking shoes turned out to be very satisfactory and a great bargain ($35). The toebox is roomy and comfortable. The lacing adjusts to fit my narrow feet. (I may decide to substitute stretchier laces, but the originals seem okay for now.) The removable insole makes it easy to insert my own high arch support.The overall construction, light weight, and sturdy sole seem suitable for light hiking in the Texas Hill Country (hot, hilly, rocky). In addition to being functional, these shoes have a sleek, attractive, sneaker-style design. (The khaki color is more like a light cream.) They should go well with casual clothes, useful for any occasion where you expect to stand or walk quite a bit. I can’t comment yet on durability and ease of cleaning, but so far I’m very happy with these shoes.

Nice quick lace
Never had quick lace shoes before but these perform as expected. Comfortable, nice appearance. Great shoe at this price point.

Nice but too small for me
Shoes looked of nice quality and the tread was good. Seemed comfortable I ordered a 8.5 and could have used a 9. The left seemed really small. I’m returning them. Personally I think I’d size up

Good style, comfort and fit but clunky stride.
I purchased these for a trip to Hawaii. I am typically a size 7 and these were true to size. They were comfortable out of the box, good style, design and color, and had great tread and traction. I purchased two different brands and in comparison the Nortiv8 had a clunky stride. As I walked it was not a smooth transition from heel contact to full foot down. I did like them but returned them since the other option purchased had a better comfort during stride. I would be willing to try this brand again in the future.

Terrible!
If I could give negative stars, I would. These shoes arrived used, with dirty soles, a damaged box and the previous purchaser’s return tag still in the shoe box. They were not advertised as used. This is absolutely unacceptable!

I LOVE ❤️ THEM. I wear orthotics so I need a secure shoe not a slipper.Its a great hiker shoe. I like the sturdy heel for my weak ankle. I wear a 10 1/2 orthodic but buy 11 size and leave the sole cusion in it then the orthodic and still can wiggle toes and it’s not a feeling and look too big it’s perfect. I am 5’8

Excellent walking shoes.. better than much more expensive brands.. warn them on long walks all summer and still as good as new
